From our home to yours

Norfolk Eye Pillows began in our family home, inspired by the scent of lavender that lines our drive, and Lucy's lifelong quest to master the art of rest.

Every pillow we make is stitched in Norfolk, with calm in mind and care in every thread. The wonderful Sophie makes them at her kitchen table in the heart of Norfolk, aided and abetted by three kids, two dogs and a cat. She fills every pillow, stitches it closed and makes all the plain ones from scratch.

The beautiful embroidery is done by a long-established family firm in west Norfolk (which once embroidered a custom jacket for David Bowie – now in the care of the V&A).

Why we do it

I’m Lucy, the founder, and I run the business with my husband from south Norfolk, a stone’s throw from the Broads.

I spent years in advertising, reaching the giddy heights of Board Director at both Leo Burnett and AMV, until burnout sent me to India and into yoga. I wrote about my hapless quest to become a yoga goddess in Yoga School Dropout, a Book of the Year in both The Times and The Independent. Later I founded YogaClicks, a marketplace for yogi makers, and grew a community of more than 50,000 followers.

I wanted to make something easy to use - that helps people slow down and rest for five minutes - and for that five minutes to be the best five minutes of their day.

What we believe

What we make

Our eye pillows are filled with organic lavender from an A.O.C.-accredited farm in Provence, and with flaxseed to contour the eyes, then wrapped in pure linen. We think Provence lavender is the best in the world, and once you’ve smelt it you may agree.

Heat them, chill them or simply rest them over your eyes – a small comfort for busy minds and tired eyes.

Every pillow arrives in tissue paper with a care card, and we’ll handwrite your gift message for free. 

They’re understated and, most importantly, easy on the eyes.
